Layout in “array” style : help !

  • hello,
    normally in wordpress, articles layout is like this :

    article 1

    content..bla..

    __________

    article 2

    content..bla..

    __________

    article 3

    content..bla..

    __________
    etc …

    i look to do this :

    article 1 |article 2 |article 3 |
    blabla … |blabla … |blabla … |

    article 4 |article 5 |article 6 |
    blabla … |blabla … |blabla … |

    tried with css display tableau …. but no good result ??

    ideas and suggestions are welcome ??
