Layout goes nuts in IE 6.0

  • Hi,

    My site is at oneniceday.com/wordpress.

    When viewed in IE 6.0 (not sure about 7.0 and 8.0), the layout all gets pushed to the left and everything goes haywire.
    Does anyone know the cause of this? I wonder if it’s because the images are too wide or something?

    In Firefox 3.6, it works perfectly ok.

    Pls advise!

  • Start by sorting out the validation errors on the site.

    This is a common problem especially with using CSS2 and any markup not supported by IE6. Is IE6 really a necessity for your website as a majority of companies and institutions are moving away from coding for it.

    If you must have it up and running certainly check those validation errors but think twice before dedicating yourself to an almost obsolete browser.
