  • Hello Harry20151020, That is strange for sure. Not sure if this helps, but just an oberservation. It looks like the “Read More” text is only not aligning properly when there is less than three lines of paragraph text. Hope that can help a little bit.

    dschafer 28,

Thank you for the response, I still can?t fix it.
    Anyone know why

Can you clarify what the problem is? I don’t see anything that’s particularly strange layout-wise. Could you post a screenshot of what it should look like to Imgur?

the “Read More” text is only not aligning properly

    Hello @harry20151020

My guess is that the problem is that your third post is not long enough.

This is not a WordPress problem, but is a Theme problem. Looks like you are using a Genesis Theme, so your best bet is to post your question in the Theme Developer’s forum.

On the page you linked, in the first two posts “My Substance is Reading” and “I am Passionate About Water Polo”, the <a> tag is within the <p> tag, so it displays correctly:

    <p>Here's some text <a href="#">Read More...</a></p>

But on the third post “I am Kind to Everyone”, for some reason the <a> tag is outside the <p> tag:

    <p>Here's some text.</p><a href="#">Read More...</a>

which causes the link to appear in the wrong place.

Unfortunately, since the fix involves either editing that particular post or editing your theme’s code (which no one here can do for you), you’ll probably have to get help from whomever designed your theme or is in charge of actually creating the posts.
