    Hi!

I get an error message, which briefly states I have too old a version of jQuery (I run 1.10.xx) while the plugin LayerSlider require 1.7.xx or newer.. which doesn’t make any sense! This happened right after I updated to the newest version of WordPress (3.6).

I have been in touch with both the plugin author and the theme author, but I can’t get an answer fast enough – I am working with a project for a client, and with the LayerSlider disabled, we cannot launch the site. This is highly inconvenient and stressful at the end of a tiresome process with the site design…

Any ideas on what to do?

I’d guess downgrading my jQuery library would work, at least for the short term until a theme update gets out, but I have no idea how to do that, and the site needs to be launched asap. Also, I could downgrade WordPress itself, but also – no idea how. I’ll google this as I wait for any kind soul to reply to this thread.

Thanks so much in advance (I’ll also thank you after ??

This problem was solved after contacting Kreatura (plugin author). They provided me with a .js file to overwrite with the current one, and then magic happened.

If anyone of you have the same problem and end up in this thread, feel free to contact me and I’ll send you the .js file and instructions on how to to it.
