Layered background

    My site is https://diybudgetgirl.com.

    I finally figured out how to add a background to the content of my site (via this thread), but now I just have a few quick questions.

    1. What can I add to keep the header from being included in this?
    2. In my footer, one of my widgets is sticking out. How can I fix that?
    3. Is it possible to add a drop shadow?

    ETA: I’m using the Simple Custom CSS plugin.

    ETA2: I figured out the drop-shadow, so never mind about that one.

    I fixed the part of the footer that was sticking out. Now the problem I have is that I changed the background of the footer, but part of it is still white. Ugh. I’ll get to that later.

    So my only question now is #1.
