Layer over image

  • Hi,
    I use the shortcode like this:
    [display-posts category=”actueel” display-posts wrapper=”div” image_size=”medium” include_date=”true” date_format=”j M Y” include_excerpt=”false” pagination=”false” posts_per_page=”3″]

    And I would like to place a layer over the image, so I can add a semi-transparent background color.

    How can I add a layer div over the image?
