Launch Effects and WP website building

Hi- I am new to all of this website stuff so please bear with me:-)

I am building my website with Colorway but added a Launch Effects landing page for the time being. However when I leave the landing page as static, and go back to my Colorway theme that is the one that goes live. I know I am missing something here or haven’t installed something correctly but am at a standstill right now as I can’t work on my site. Please help. Thanks.
