Latex equation numbering and referencing

  • Hello,

    I’ve looked up online but I could not find anything for wordpress.
    I would like to know whether it is possible to number and reference an equation in latex without adding any extra plugins.

    i.e.:
    $latex I=frac{V}{R} \label{eq:1}$

    Refer to equation $latex \ref{eq:1}$

    WordPress does not have LaTeX support built-in, you’ll need to add a plugin for that.
