• Hello,
Just wanted to let the developer(s) know that I, like a few others here, upgraded to the latest version of Yuzo this morning. After upgrading, I was greeted by a “Get Yuzo Pro” banner in my toolbar and my site immediately stopped working. When I try to access the site, I get a “500 Service Unavailable” error. The admin menu and dashboard are still working fine though. Tried deactivating the plugin, but no avail. I then tried uninstalling it altogether, which also did nothing. Tried clearing the browser’s cache and cookies. Nothing. Tried reinstalling it and manually deleting the Yuzo folder via FTP. Nada. I’ve even tried reinstalling WordPress, but even that is not an option since I get a “Searching for available socket” message. Switching back to my site’s old theme had no effect either. Later on today, I will try restoring the site from the latest database backup and see if that has any effect.

If anyone has any clues about what to do to fix this error, I would greatly appreciate any and all assistance.

As for Yuzo, I have been a big fan of it until now, but not anymore. I have deactivated and uninstalled it on my other two sites and will NOT be using it again. Also, I do NOT appreciate having to like your Facebook page in order to gain access to the support forum on your main website.

  • If manually uninstalling (ftp i guess) Yuzo plugin didn’t help, then it is not a Yuzo related problem. Probably something with your hosting setup or server.

Also i agree that Yuzo plugin is now very aggresive in advertizing within WP. And should be fixed.

Spanish? If you no have problems in your others websites maybe no is yuzo problem?
If your web is contemporary…com I can confirm run, but is very slow. The page is all black and no charge all.
You have one problem in your server about speed.

You can inside your admin true? Inactive all the plugins, remember the list you have previus activated.
Test if run better, and add one plugin by one.
Go to updates and reinstall wordpress, no will modificate nothing.
Contact your server provider or support www.remarpro.com

Just some ideas, If you have saved one old version yuzo, you can install it and no update… how me.

In view source stop in script addtoany.

    Hey Guys–
Many, many thanks for the advice and for checking into my site. I appreciate the help very much! I’m happy to report that I managed to track down at least one of the culprits (the Nested Pages plugin) and my site is back to normal. Another plugin seems to have caused the site to slow down, although I haven’t found out exactly which one yet. Quite possibly the AddToAny plugin??? AddToAny is one of the plugins I still haven’t reactivated and the site is running at its normal speed.

As for Nested Pages, I upgraded it along with Yuzo this morning. The strange thing is that I have had it installed along with Yuzo on my other blog as well. I did not upgrade Yuzo prior to uninstalling it on that particular blog. I did, however, upgrade Nested Pages and it is still active there. So far that blog is working just fine with no problems whatsoever.

Anyway, thanks again guys and hopefully this issue is now officially resolved!

Just related post no appear, but maybe you delete it.
    Now run ok ?? bravo!
