Latest WP – need stat monitor for pages, site hits, etc

  • Is there such a plug in?
    I used Nvu to create pages before powering my site with WordPress – but now (I should have guessed this… LOL) since moving to WordPressed powered site, my awstats from hosting service register no hits. (Not possible – even if just counting mine… LOL).

    What’s the scoop?
    How can I get this data back?
    I did see a awstats plugin – but last updated 2005 – is it still “useable” or….. what do you all recommend?

  • I don’t know anything about awstats but I use statcounter and love it. https://www.statcounter.com there is a plugin for this, and it really easy to use with more information givin free than anywhere else I have tried.

    I haven’t tried that plugin yet, but..I would assume it’s ok to use yet.. ?? Someone care to share the status of this plugin?
