  • I have the exact same problem. Same error on an otherwise white page of death.
I can’t go back and undo anything.
    What’s the solution here?

Looking into it as we speak!

If you want to disable the plugin temporary, you can rename the wppp plugin folder and it will disable automatically.

Let you know when I’ve an update!

Where do we rename the wppp plugin folder?
    And how?

    Hi,

    Just released 1.1.2, I’ve successfully tested this on WC 2.2 + WP 4.0 and WC 2.1 + WP 3.9.

Let me know if this fixed all of your issues!

@ianrobertknight you can change the folder name through FTP in your wp-content/plugins/ folder, or now update to the latest version.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Jeroen. Much appreciated.

I’ve tried to change the name of the folder, but cant see how to accomplish that in the cPanel. I can’t update the plugin through WP Admin, because I cannot log in.
I get a white screen of death with this error message:

Notice: wp_enqueue_style was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. You need to log into you FTP account via filezilla or likewise application to change folder names (don’t know if thats possible through cPanel).

You should be able to create/get the FTP credentials from cPanel though. That way you can or update the plugin through FTP or rename the plugin folder to it disables.

PS. also see an error of other plugins, make sure you update those too if there’s and update available.

    (maybe this helps: https://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/CpanelDocs/FTPAccounts)

    Let me know!

    Jeroen

I have no problem accessing my FTP account. I am there now.
But I can’t see how to rename the folder.
    Right-click-rename doesn’t exist.
If I open the folder, there is no obvious way to rename it.

    what am I missing?

How are you accessing your FTP?

F2 works in explorer on windows. Otherwise click on the folder, wait a sec, click again of the folder should start renaming.

I recommend using Filezilla, best application for quick usage.

    Jeroen

I am using Chrome on a MacBook.
When I click on the folder, it opens.
There is no delay – rename function like in explorer.

    Let me look for Filezilla.

SO, I can’t rename it, and I can’t update it.
    Any other ideas?

Will deleting the WPPP file accomplish the same result?
    Cos I can do that.
