Latest Version Options Missing

    Is options like: “Panic Key”, “Allow Backend Login Screen for Guests”, “Disable Admin Login via Frontend” removed from latest version or there is some problem from my end ?

  • @digiraj – this stuff has been moved to UM -> Roles. Have a look there and you’ll see it. Not sure if the panic key is still there.

    I can see more roles have been added there, but what about Guest User?
    The options I want to have is:
    1. Disable Admin Login via Frontend
    2. Redirect to alternative login page
    3. Allow Backend Register Screen for Guests
    4. Redirect to alternative register page

    Are these options still there in new version?

    Hi,

    These settings have been removed from plugin as they were causing lockouts for users of UM who were misconfiguring the plugin.

    In 2.0, you can turn off anyone can register from WordPress > general settings and UM registration will still work.

    That’s not the solution for misconfiguration problem ??

    We’ll try to add a code snippet to site soon so can implement this into your site on an individual basis rather than as plugin setting so you can still have this on your site but users won’t be able to lock themselves out of their sites by activating a combination of settings that cause a lockout.
