I updated to the very latest version of The Events Calendar and it is still breaking my site. I also updated to the latest version of the Event Tickets Plus plugin and it’s still down. I believe the issue is with The Events Calendar plugin but not sure. The only version that works with my site is 6.0 or earlier. Help!

    Hi @mastersofwp,

We released a latest version of Event Tickets that might resolve your problem. It was an incompatibility with Avada and the way their integration was handling the existence of our plugin.

I marked this as resolved, if that is not the case please let me know and I will remove the tag and help you fix the problem.

We’re not using the Avada theme, only Storefront. When I go to update the free Events Tickets plugin, it throws a critical error. It’s almost like none of your several plugins are compatible with each other. We use Event Tickets (free version) with Event Tickets Plus, The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro. Any updates to those plugins throws a critical error.

Update: updated to the latest versions of the free Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro and disabled all plugins one by one to see if there’s an incompatibility. Still getting a fatal error. We are using the latest Storefront theme and WooCommerce version 7.8.0, WordPress version 6.2.2 and PHP 8.2.7.

@ltrost0910gmail It seems like you are running into a fatal around the usage of an extension. The fatal should go away if you deactivate the following extension: “The Events Calendar Extension: Events Control”

The functionality from that extension has been baked into The Events Calendar and you shouldn’t need it anymore.

@mastersofwp what version of The Events Calendar and Event TIckets are you using? About 1h after you commented here we released another version that should fix all the problems. Just make sure you update all The Events Calendar plugins.

Deactivating and uninstalling did the trick! Thank you so much.
