We updated our site to the latest version today and it turned out that this plugin was breaking the site causing a fatal error.

I think we upgraded from the version 2.0.12.

We are using the plugin Hivepress to created personal ads and the fatal error appear when you try to add a new personal ad. The error we get is:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in?/wp-includes/class-wpdb.php?on line?2153

@hemligg is there any other logs with errors related to Simple SEO? The memory allocation error is very vague.

Please provide PHP version, WordPress version, and PHP log files. Thanks!

I can’t find any other logs. I disabled Simple SEO plugin as soon as I realized that it was causing the fatal error on the Hivepress page.

We are running WordPress 6.1, PHP8 and Buddyboss Platform and theme.

@hemligg Can you provide the sub-version of php8? For example 8.0.27.

@hemligg There are multiple Hivepress plugins. Specifically which one(s) are you using so I can try to duplicate this error.

@hemligg I am marking this as resolved. I have installed the theme as well as the theme plugin, running Simple SEO included and there are no errors. No fatal errors. Nothing significant to report. I’m sorry that your having issues, but this is not a Simple SEO error that I can duplicate.
