The latest update to this (2.9.0) breaks another plugin I use (Wp anything slider, which hasn’t been updated for a few months). Most likely I’ll have to dump this & find another plugin which can slide html elements unless you can suggest what change might have caused the issue.

    Hi Andrew

I’ve run a quick test and Wp Anything Slider seems to be working normally in Page Builder. How is the plugin broken for you? Have you tested with only Page Builder and Wp Anything Slider activated, no other plugins activated.

Have also seen similar issues with version 2.9.0 when used with the Flash theme from ThemeGrill. When using the FT Slider widget (from Flash Toolkit plugin) on a page, rendering is messed up. Black panels, or sometimes slider images all on show stacked above one another.

Reverting to PageBuilder version 2.8.2 fixes issues.

Reproduction steps. Install Flash theme 1.2.3. Install plug Flash Toolkit 1.1.8. Install PageBuilder 2.9.0. Create a page with one Page builder row. Add FT Slider widget with handful of images, that should slide. View page.

I’ve found out that if I have the Page Builder slider (in my case to show images) and the WP Anything slider (in my case to show some html elements) on the same page then WP Anything slider doesn’t work. WP Anything Slider on its own is fine.

I use this because it’s the only slider I’ve found that can slide arbitrary html elements e.g. paragraphs of text.

My solution is to use MetaSlider for my images instead of Page Builder slider. This is also better because Page Builder slider seems to slow down in the back-end when I try to add a lot of images e.g. more than 10 and it’s taken me half an hour to create a slider containing around 15 images! With Meta Slider you can just add them all in one go.

For anyone else reading this topic. In testing, we’ve found Wp Anything Slider breaks the SiteOrigin Slider widget when both are used on a page. The issue has now been logged on GitHub.
