• Just letting you know our featured image functionality broke on our site. We’ve diagnosed the problem to be the Sumo plugin. When Sumo is activated, and you click the “Set Featured Image”, nothing happens.

  • I am also having a similar problem, My Block Editor doesn’t work at all saying the error message, “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.” It’s mainly the image features, uploading an image, a featured image and the editor itself now. All point back to Sumo when I diagnose the Problem using the inspect tool on chrome. Everything started with the latest update. a few days ago. Hope it gets fixed, love using sumo!

I am also having issues with this. It also made it so images couldn’tbe changed using the editor. Everything works fine with the plugin disabled, but obviously that’s not ideal.

Just got this from Sumo support. Haven’t tried it yet though:

    Hey there,

    Sorry to hear!

So we got a few reports of this and believe it’s a WordPress issue. We tested on a few of our sites and saw what you’re talking about.

Can you do us a favor and clear your site’s cache and view it again in an incognito window with the Sumo plugin activated? That worked for us and we believe the issue to have fixed itself, but want to make sure it’s 100% in the clear for you.

Having the same issue. Getting the same error message and when I look into chrome console it shows an error with sumo.

Okay I tried that. It works perfectly normal in The Incognito Mode browser on chrome after clearing my cache. Still doesn’t work on regular chrome with the plugin activated, it completely blocks my entire editor so I cant edit a post.

Good to know I’m not alone ??

I’m also having issues with using featured images and editing/ creating new posts if SUMO is activated. Currently, have the plugin deactivated so I can upload all my content for the month.
