Latest version and WP featured images

    The latest version (2.0.2) prevents featured images from being set in posts, and it also prevents me from adding images to a slider that works by adding post images. When the “Set Featured Post” link is clicked, the “Insert Media” screen comes up as usual, but it’s blank. All you can see is the “Insert Media” heading. The photos, tabs, drop-down box, etc. don’t appear.

    version 2.03 has the same problem. no longer links with wordpress’s jetpack media library

    I have the enhanced media library version 2.0.3. upon this upgrade, my media library stopped connecting with it. Meaning if I try and use the add media button, I see no images. If I try to set featured image, I have no options to choose from. If I click media library, all of my pictures are there but my categories are not. I disabled enhanced media library and then the add media button and set featured image work fine. So somehow the new version is no longer compatible.

    I just activated all free Jetpack features and was perfectly able to add image to a post, and featured image as well. I use WordPress 4.1, Enhanced Media Library 2.0.3, and Jetpack 3.3

    I think the problem is your particular website configuration (a combination of WP settings, active plugins, and theme). You can send an access to your website to me to wpuxsolutions [at] gmail [dot] com for further investigation.

    I just received and installed an update to the WP Spam Shield plugin. I no longer have this problem. Go figure.
