Latest Upgrade breaks Divi theme

    I updated Wordfence yesterday and found that I could no longer save any changes in the Divi theme editor, it white screens and blocks the site for ten minutes or so.

    Other users on different UPs can still use the site.

    disabling Wordfence solved the issue with Divi.

    I enabled it again and whitelisted my IP address – the problem remained
    I put Wordfence in Learning mode – the problem remained

    When Wordfence is enabled, in my php logs I see processes hanging and timing out after 7 or so minutes. this coincides with the

    So the only configuration that works is to disable Wordfence.

    Any ideas welcomed!

    Hi @chwright3, thanks for reaching out.

    For clarity, the site still white-screens whilst in Learning Mode so can never get to the stage of allowing the save action of Divi? The alternative situation being that it works in Learning Mode but not when you return to Enabled and Protecting, but I just wanted to be sure.

    From your server logs, could you please paste the exact lines that occur when this happens? Also, does Live Traffic pick anything up at the same timestamp(s)? I can help interpret what might be going wrong.
