Latest update wiped out my website

  • I just ran the latest Tempera theme update and my website is now a blank white page. I can’t navigate to any of the pages or the dashboard to restore the backup, so it seems this update has, in effect, killed my website. I hope there is some way that I can revive it.

  • Most hosts do daily backups, so if you contact your host’s support desk, you can have them roll back or restore your site to a date that you know everything was still good, i.e., before you did the theme update.

    The same thing happened to me. I went into FTP to change to twentyfifteen temporarily, but I’d like to get Tempera back. Does anybody know what the problem is?

    Same thing for me as well. I had to switch back to Twentyfifteen and go to maintenance mode. Any idea on the issue? I’d really like to get Tempura back. Thanks.

    Sorry about this, it was an issue caused by a certain bit of code we added in combination with older PHP versions.
    The update fixing it is now live.
