Latest Update Slowing Website / Critical Error Message

    After updating the following plugins, the website slows to a halt if not displaying the standard WP “Critical Error” message.
    The Events Calendar
    The Events Calendar PRO
    The Events Calendar: Filter Bar
    The Events Calendar: Virtual Events

    I deactivated of plugins and activated just one (The Events Calendar) because if I activate the PRO or any of the others, the site will time-out every time.
    – Google is also yelling at me because it keeps finding 500 errors when crawling the site.

    I can log into the WP Dashboard with no problem, but the front end of the site is close to worthless.

    I was able to find the following errors as well:

    Hi!

    It appears you are having an issue with Tribe__Events__Template__Month. We deprecated that class prior to the v2 updates and have removed it completely in TEC 6.0. We no longer call this class or its methods internally. If you are seeing errors related to this class, please make sure:

    • Your plugins are all up to date. Reminder: pre-6.0 premium plugins and add-ons are not compatible with TEC 6.0
    • Your live site is not set to display debug errors (link)
    • You are on PHP 8.0 or lower (as downgrading from PHP 8.1 has corrected the problem with some users)
    • You are not calling the class or its functions in any custom code snippets

    If you are still having issues, please perform conflict debugging (link) as some third-party plugins have utilized this class in the past.
