Latest update no longer posting to social media

  • Since the latest update yesterday (v3.3.1), the plugin appears to have completely stopped working – wont post to either Facebook or Twitter.

    Can’t see any error message logs anywhere – running PHP7.4 with latest WordPress single site installation.

    If you’re using any caching plugins or server-level caching, please clear the cache, as the latest version includes JavaScript updates that may not reflect without doing so.

    Additionally, if you’re utilizing WordPress scheduled posting, ensure that under Settings > General Settings, the option “Auto publish on creating posts/pages/custom post types” is set to “Use metabox settings.”

    If the issue persists, could you please share the list of active plugins and the theme you are using?

    Regretably not — I rolled back to 3.3.0 and it worked fine again, but subsquent versions .1 and .2 aren’t working.

    I’ve cleared caches — and also the suggested option “Auto publish on creating posts/pages/custom post types” doesn’t appear in General Settings.

    We were unable to replicate the issue. Could you please be more specific or share the steps to reproduce it?
    Additionally, the mentioned setting is available under the General settings of SMAP. Please refer to the attached screenshot(https://ibb.co/2hZcPW9)
