• Resolved StickyPixels

After upgrading to the latest ACF version my Media library couldn’t display grid view anymore, but list view displayed fine.
Also, uploading new images from grid view gives an error, but works fine when in list view.

Deactivate and re-activating plugins one by one narrowed it down to ACF plugin as the culprit. Reverting to previous version restored my Media grid view.

After latest updates, the problem still remains. No grid view, galleries on posts show no images.

This is quite unreal for such a widely used plugin.

This is the error message WordPress mailed me, stating the plugin gives a fatal error:

Did some more tests and finally found there is a plugin conflict between ACF and qTranslate-XT. Which is quite bizarre, considering ACF even has a separate settings page for integration with qTranslate.

So hopefully somebody with some php skills can dive into this, for now I am stuck with an outdated ACF plugin.

Well, thank goodness I had nothing else to do today (as if…) and problem solved!

Turns out there’s an update for qTranslate-XT available at https://github.com/qtranslate/qtranslate-xt/

Doesn’t show up on the automatic plugin updates obviously, so I missed that one.

Hope it helps others as well.
    Cheers!
