• Auto updates set to on and the latest Elementor version has killed my website. Only way to get the site back up is to deactivate the plugin.

Even with every other plugin disabled other than the theme and Elementor it still does not work.

How anyone can release a plugin in this condition is baffling!!!!!

Update, Used rollback to 3.5.6 and the site is back up and running with auto updates turned off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still cannot edit in the backend though unless I disable the layerslider wp.

  • Thank you. We rolled back to 3.6.1 and the website remained dead. Only when we followed your lead and rolled back to 3.5.6 did the website come back up.

    Elementor, please take note

I just had the same problem.
Updated the Elementor plugin and my website didn’t load anymore.
    A rollback solved the problem.
I strongly recomend to make a backup of your WP installation before installing the newest Elemtor plugin. I use the UpdraftPlus plugin which saved me this time.
