    Updated the theme to the latest version and after that lost the bootstrap slider on the front page and the height of the header decreased as well.
    Also the child theme seems to be affected and I have to return to parent evolve theme to see the site as I built it.

    When I check the bootstrap slider, the images are there as they should and also enabled, but the slider just just won’t show.

    I have this in custom CSS, don’t know if it is significant:

    .entry-title {
    display: none;
    }
    .content {
    padding-top: 35px;
    background: #ffffff;
    }

    .carousel {
    max-height: 420px;
    overflow: hidden;

    .item img {
    width: 100%;
    height: auto;
    }

  • Hi,

    For the slider, try setting the slider position in Theme Options -> Header
    Find the setting -> Slider Position

    If you are using a static page, edit the page and set the Slider Position in your post meta.

    As for header size, Go to Theme Options -> Header
    Find the setting -> Header Padding and make the adjustments.

    Thank you.

    I am having the same issue. All was beautiful until I updated the theme. Now all my images that were on the home page and bootstrap slider is gone. All settings in the Customize panel are on as before. I do not see anything stating THEME OPTIONS anywhere, so am in the Customize panel.

    Hi @clmurphy3570

    You need to install the reduxframework plugin in order to see Appearance -> Theme Options

    Thank you

    OK, so to see Theme Options requires the reduxframework plug in.

    I tried that. Received “Destination Folder already exists, Plug in installation failed”. Sure enough, in the WP-Content Plugins there is the folder. However, the reduxframework plugin does not appear in the Plugins section in the Dashboard so I cannot activate it. Went into File Manager and deleted the reduxframework plugin folder. Then tried to install again. Still get the same message “Destination Folder already exists” even though it does not. help:(((

    Same problem for my site: https://www.motoseyyah.com

    – reduxframework plugin is allready installed.
    – What is problem?

    – How can ? fix it?

    Hi,

    Use ftp to go to your wp-content/plugins/ and delete the reduxframework plugin.

    Re-install via your WordPress admin.

    Thank you.

    Tried this already before posting, no change, no reaction, nothing happens.

    As for header size, Go to Theme Options -> Header
    Find the setting -> Header Padding and make the adjustments.

    There’s no Header Padding under Theme Options.
    There’s just Enable Searchbox, Header Menu Background Opacity, Slider Position and Choose Header Type.

    Hi @dweeb,

    Are you using version 3.6.2? With Reduxframework plugin?
    https://image.prntscr.com/image/026690e485874434bd15013522580286.png
    The very first setting in the screen shot is header padding.

    I have version 3.6.2 of the theme, that’s the one I just installed and that’s the one which started these problems. And I have had redux framework installed all the time.
    The padding problem was solved (I was blind), but the slider isn’t still functioning.

    Have same problem – yesterday evenig updated the site LICHTbilder-andermatt.ch to the latest evolve. Now bootstrap-Slider on Homepage dosen’t work. What can i do?

    Installed Redux Framework and made adjustments in Header in Theme Options as directed. All settings in slider set to show on home page. Still no bootstrap slider appearing on home page. Updated to .evolve version 3.6.2. and this is what caused the problem.

    OK got it. Needed to follow your instructions for a static page above. Thanks.

    @clmurphy3570
    You are welcome

    Hi Denzel
    Had same problem with bootstrap slider. Your instruction for static page fixed my problem

    Thanks

    Wow. All it too was to remove a period (could’ve been anything else) on the first (static) page, save it and – voilá! It works! Thanks!
