    Hey David,

    I purchased the plugin but can’t seem to log into the support site. Hopefully you can help here.

    I am hosted on Siteground and I am getting this error

    I opened a ticket with them and this is their response. Can you help with this so we can get the plugin error resolved?

    Thank you for contacting our Help Desk.

    As far as I could see the Freemius’ API is unable to make a connection to the WooCommerce. However, I am unable to whitelist the domain, what I could do for you is to open the outgoing connections to the IPs related to the <api.freemius.com>:

    Code:
    api.freemius.com is an alias for api-1122186795.us-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com.
    api-1122186795.us-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com has address 52.26.18.94
    api-1122186795.us-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com has address 52.24.238.63

    In order to fulfill this, I would need the exact port on which the API is working. Given that, please contact the API’s vendor so they could provide you with the necessary port.

    Hi,

    You have to register at smart-variations.com to access the support. It’s not the same account.

    Since this is the free version i will close this issues.

    But you need to whitelist api.freemius.com (34.209.145.181) & wp.freemius.com (104.18.54.29) port 8080 for external connection.

    Would really appreciate a review when possible.

    Those IPs are no longer assigned to those domain names.

    with popula CSF firewall there’s no way to whitelist a domain.

    how often does this ip changes? is there a better way od doing this?=

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply. Was wait for feedback from Freemius.

    This is what I got:

    to properly whitelist the API they need to whitelist the subdomain or api-1122186795.us-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com, but from what we’ve seen, most hosting aren’t capable to do so and looking for IP address, I don’t know how frequently AWS changes the load balancer IP, but you can ping it and see the updated IP
