The latest update to your plugin causes a critical error with WordPress and makes the entire website inaccessible. Please provide a link to a rollback version of the plugin until you provide a fix. Thank you.

I have the same issue so please stop pushing this update immediately!

Hi there,
Hope you’re having a great day ??
We’re so sorry for any inconvenience you had with the plugin. We just have released a new version including a fix for the mentioned issue.
So, could you please update your version and let us know if you still have any further issues?
Thanks for your understanding ??
Regards
How should we update the plugin without any access to the website?
Thanks
edit: nevermind, recovery mod worked great, then just had to update the plugin. Thanks

Still the same problem when activating pro
Hi @neoseo1300,
You can remove the plugin files using your FTP/cPanel account credentials or just change the plugin folder name and it will be automatically deactivated.
@nesoor Please make sure you’re having v4.0.3 installed for the free version and 2.2.0 pro installed.
Regards
It does work with the pro version 2.2.0 but unfortunately the automatic update function of WordPress is updating the free version first. So I have to manually update every website.
It’s working now, thanks for the quick response.
Some websites don’t get an update for the pro plugin but the free version does automatically update to 4.0.3. The problem is that the pro functions stop working and aren’t visible anymore on the front page.
Actually, we have rebuilt the plugin core, so there are dozens of changes. So, both version should be updated in order to get them working.
If you have not receive the update notification for Premium Addons Pro, you can simply download it from your account settings page -> Downloads tab.
Regards
Hey there.
So the good news is my site didn’t break but when I just went on all my customizations to the Premium Blog that vanished. I re-did everything but now the Offset isn’t working anymore. It doesn’t matter if I put 0, 1 or 10 in the offset field, it always shows all posts. I can manually exclude a post as a quick fix, but that’s not a long-term solution.
P.S. not sure if I should have opened a new topic, but since this seems to be related to the latest update, I posted it in here.
Hope you’re having a great day ??
We’re so sorry for any inconvenience you had, I will do my best to help you getting this resolved ASAP.
Actually, we have made dozens of improvements in the blog widget that makes it even better and easier. Hope you like the new skins ??
I’m currently trying to reproduce the issue, so may I ask is there any filter options set from the widget settings. I’m referring to “Match By Category, Tags, Author, etc.”?
Regards
Yes, the news skins are great!
In my query, I match by category and have named a number of them. No Authors or Tags. Basically, I use the widget on my front page. On top, I have a box with the most recent blog and news item (one each). Below I first have a larger box with 6 further news items and another with 6 further blog items. This is where I need to offset by 1, in order to not display the most recent one again. Because I separate blog and news posts, I filter by category, but with several categories each, because my blog and my news consist of multiple categories.
All this worked perfectly until the most recent update. Right now I manually exclude the most recent post, because the offset doesn’t do anything: attoproject.org
I also “ignore sticky posts”, but I tried with this option on and off and it didn’t make any difference.Hi @irismoebius
Hope you’re having a great day ??
I’ve tried to reproduce the issue on my end and I can see it only happens when Posts Per Page option value is not set.
So, it would be great if you could help us just by confirming that by navigating to widget settings -> Content tab -> General and set a value for Posts Per Page option and let me know if offset option works.
Regards
Hey, thanks for the quick reply. The Post Per Page has been set to 6 the entire time. I just played around with the number a bit, took it out, put back in, etc. but that had no effect on my end. I have no pagination or carousel. I have the modern skin, even layout with 2 columns. I’m showing the Feature Image and Post Content with Post Excerpt, and that’s all I can think of in terms of possibly relevant setting.
I am having the same issue – after updating many of my widgets have vanished. When will this issue be fixed?
