• Just ran the latest update of the theme and I now notice our footers are all over the place, our menu’s have reset to massive spacings, etc, I’ve restored the last backup of the theme and everything is back to normal thankfully, this is something I reckon needs looked at pretty quickly to avoid others having the same issues.

Clearly an issue with the latest update, I’d suggest, if possible, restoring the theme from a backup, seems also that elementor isn’t particularly happy with Astra, we’ve also noticed that pages are being affected not only by the latest update but by the theme in general, we’ve applied margins to the bottom footer but these don’t show in pages unless we convert them to elementor pages, and then some of the formatting goes wrong, like postage options on basket/checkout, the options get seriously squashed to the side, if we revert the pages back to wordpress formatting the options go back to ‘normal’ but then the spacing in the footer is removed also?

    @marko2002 / @mohammedalatafi

    That is strange.

Could you guys report this to us here so we can take a closer look?

So far so good, installed the update and all looks well ??
Don’t suppose I could push for a quick response to my other thread seeing as I brought this issue to your attention cause I’m such a lovely person ??
    Cheers

Do you have any suggestions if the site doesn’t have a back-up? I’ve just started working on an existing site that doesn’t seem to have a back up for me to go to. Their desktop site is ok. The mobile versions are working but very squished.

The mobile version is the same for us, that’s the reason we’ve went back to OceanWP, I did raise it at the same time as the update issue and let the guys know about the mobile issue via the ticket system but as yet nothing. Unfortunately the lack of active support on the forum likely means we’re not going to go to Astra anytime soon, it’s a theme in progress tbh and not for a site that is live.

    Hi @mellew,

Would you mind elaborate more a bit to us about the issue you are facing? I am not sure if I can understand you.

@marko2002, I would be honest that we are having a high volume of tickets as of late, that’s must be the reason why we had some delay responding to your ticket. We’re sorry for that. And also, FYI, we’re prioritizing the Pro users above the free users.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi @bsfherman

The mobile site looks squished. The desktop version is fine. I’m fairly new to wordpress and taking over a site built by someone else. I feel like it’s probably an easy solution. I’m too new to be able to see it.

I’ve seen other people say they’ve had this similar issue. One had a resolution when using Elementor. I’m using WP Bakery pages and the path to the solution didn’t match. (Appearance/Manage Location / where to next?)

Another solution I’ve seen was installing a backed up version of the site. There doesn’t seem to have one of those either.

I don’t know if it’s ok for me to post the actual site. If it’s ok and it will help let me know.

    Thanks so much!!!

    Hi @mellew,

It’s hard to provide any help without having a look directly at the issue. Please share your live site URL where the issue is happening.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Thanks, @bsfherman

    The site is magnoliadesignco.com

The shopify plugin was giving an error. I’ve deactivated that plugin but that didn’t fix the problem. I’m not sure where else to look

    Hi @mellew,

Thank you for sharing the site URL.

I check on my end and it looks fine. Check out this video to see how it looks on my end.

The only issue I could see is the logo. There’s an option available to resize the logo for mobile on the Customizer.

Also, I noticed that you are still using the old header/footer on your site. I would suggest you switch to the new Header Footer Builder. It’s easier and has more robust features than the old header/footer.

    I hope it could help.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
