Latest update causing an issue with redirecting from http to https.

I just updated to version 5.3.1 of this plugin at the above site. I’ve linked the page above but am substituting “domain” in the body for privacy.

After doing so I noticed that the https://www.domain.com for this site is redirecting to https://www.www.domain.com instead of https://www.domain.com. Both the homeurl and siteurl in the WordPress admin are set to https://www.domain.com.

I noticed in the udpate changelog that this udpate was intended to:

Better SSL force to accommodate websites with WWW in the URL

so I thought perhaps there was an error in the update.
