Hello, the latest update came with two major bugs.

    1. Deleted every profile pictures
    2. Automatically inserts “Author Signature” at the end of every post, which I can’t turn off. If I unmark the “Show Author Gravatar” option, it removes that automatic author signature but doesn’t show the profile picture in my author box.

Thanks for the update, but it’s a big mess.

    Hi

Please can you screen record the complete issues and send it to us here or in the Git Repository: https://github.com/wpeventmanager/wp-user-profile-avatar/issues/new

We have been trying to reproduce the issue, but we are failing to do so, so it will really help us to resolve it faster.

I am having the same issue.
I rolled back my production site and am testing on my development. You can see the production site has the avatar at the bottom of this page: https://blog.naiop.org/2023/12/steadfast-advocacy-remains-critical-in-a-difficult-congress/

On the Development site (which has the latest update) The avatar is missing plus it added another author block to my template: https://devnaiop.wpengine.com/2023/12/steadfast-advocacy-remains-critical-in-a-difficult-congress/

I checked and all of the user’s profile images are missing in the admin after updating.

I tried to fix the issue for a while but couldn’t fix it. So I had to install another plugin, so I can’t take any screenshots. But my problem was exactly the same as Cassieuc’s. I hope you find the issue. It was working perfectly fine before the last update.

    Hi there,

We have exactly the same problem as @sonamooinc on two sites where we are using this plugin:

    1. After update all personalized profile images were lost and no profile images are shown.
    2. Automatically inserts an author box at the end of every post, which can’t be turned off.

Can you check and solve this?

    Thanks.

+1 same problem here, deleted previous images, can’t upload new picture for users without picture, it’s creating author box at posts which I don’t want.

Can confirm.. the new update removes the existing avatars and auto adds a signature at the end of WP posts.

Your dev probably renamed the database fields that correspond with the image uploads.

@sonamooinc is correct.. this is a big mess.

I reverted my plugin back to 1.0 and everything is fine.

    Hi
