• I recently updated my WordPress to 4.8, as well as my themes and plugins. I went through the recommended steps (deactivating plugins, clearing cache, testing different themes) and discovered the issue appears to be my Nisarg child theme. I can’t seem to find documentation from the theme creator on how to fix this easily/the best way to update the parent theme without running into child theme issues. Any advice on how to get Nisarg child theme back up and running?

**Details of what I’m seeing on my site when child theme is active**
I see the customized top menu bar, but no content below it. When the parent theme is active, everything shows up.

I had the same problem, I just uploaded the old version of the Nisarg theme (not the child) from my backup as a temporary solution.

Thanks, Maarten, that’s what I did as well. Hopefully someone can chime in and let us know what changed so we can be up-to-date while still using our child theme. I tried comparing the current and older version to see what changed, and just couldn’t find what was causing the content to not appear.
