• The latest 3.0.1 update completely broke the plugin. It was working great until now. Hope it will get fixed. Now all of the input options in posts/pages are gone, left with a few icons and a non-functional plugin. Literally does nothing.

3.03 fixes the problem. However, still a 1 star rating, as all the useful functionality is gone. Editing meta tags, gone. I guess it’s all in the premium version. Alas, time to uninstall & move to a different plugin on all of my sites.

  • Exact same problem. Tried clearing browser cahce without success.

I have about 30 websites running this plugin, and use mainwp with yoast as a trusted update – so all 30 websites of mine have now been upgraded to this new version.

What do we do? Roll back or wait for a fix? Are you aware of this problem and working on a fix?

    Hi @kemyst,

Sorry it’s taken us over a year to get back to you on this one. Almost a year has passed since your review. We’ve made a ton of changes to Yoast SEO and would like to invite you to give the plugin a new try.

It’s still possible to use meta keywords, but we don’t recommend it, which is why we turn it off by default. Please refer to this post.

If you want to learn more about the plugin before installing it, we feel our knowledge base is the best place to start.

Thanks for giving the plugin another try!
