Basically the <div> with the #gadwp-window-1 is completely empty, not sure if there is any issue with Autoptimize, but I had both Autoptimize and GADWP working fine with each other since the beginning.

Front end reporting is working fine as is tracking.

    Hi,

Now we really shouldn’t have to be clearing our browser cache on every plugin update. I’ll have to relogin to every single one of the tons of site that I visit.

You don’t need to do that at every update, it was recommended only for 4.9.2 and only if there are issues.

Back to your problem, follow the steps described on plugin’s FAQ page, see Empty Widget on Dashboard Screen section. If there are any errors post them here.

Ah okay, I did try that previously but I didn’t see any errors. Had to reload again.

    Here is the error:

Uncaught ReferenceError: gadwp_item_data is not defined reports.js:1

Couldn’t find anything on it on the forums

    Hi,

I don’t know what kind of cache plugin are you using (if any), but it’s clear enough that it doesn’t automatically purge the page and minify cache at plugin updates. In these cases you should purge the cache manually.

Hmm I’m using W3TC with Autoptimize, and I’ve already purged the caches multiple times since the update. Could it be something else?

Would I need to purge the CDN?

If you’re using a CDN for logged in users and ignore/remove query strings for static resources, the answer would be: YES!

One thing is for sure, we’re not using gadwp_item_data anywhere in 4.9.2, so the loaded reports.js file is outdated.

I fixed it by purging the reports.js from my CDN.

I’m not ignoring or removing query strings on my CDN but I’m using a plugin to remove query strings completely for pagespeed purposes.

    Thanks for the help.

As a small side question, do you have any experience with Autoptimize? I’m trying to exclude the correct GADWP .js and scripts from Autoptimize but I’m not too sure which are the ones I should be excluding.

I don’t use any caching plugins or CDN but I have exactly the same error after update: “gadwp_item_data is not defined”

Well, the solution was to clean browser cache using CCleaner ??
THe common method using Opera’s settings didn’t help ??

We remember that after update this plugin today, we can’t type fields area in search box, comment box, contact forum, login page, register page etc… in browsers (edge and chrome).
So we tried to disable all plugin and cache but not fixed. Please help if you have any tricks.

Since this topic is sticky, let’s wrap some things up:

    1. Always read the the upgrade notices
    2. Force a page refresh SHIFT+CTRL+F5, CMD+R or follow these steps https://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/
    3. Purge your page cache, minfy cache, CDN cache

We tried above steps, but not fixed.
Also we tried from another Computer.
    Thanks

same problem here, happened after updating the plugin

    Hey EmeraldCityEDM,

    This plugin works fine.

Hi Alin, maybe you could put the latest upgrade notice in the changelog? You could remove the old notice when the new version (replace with the new upgrade notice) is out to prevent clutter.
