Latest update broke the feed

  • Hi there,

    It’s been working quite nicely for a while now, but after the latest update the feed stopped working. So I rolled back to the previous version and the feed works again. We all have backups, right?

    This is one good reason to not enable automatic updates. My backups happen all automatically, but I do all other updates manually, then verify myself. Because sometimes these things happen, and only a human can see if there is a problem. If you have too many websites to manage yourself, then hire more humans and don’t automate too much.

    Hey there,

    I am having the same issue as @buildupteardown (I just checked out her page and mine looks to have the same error) – my feed is continually loading. I’m not seeing any errors in the Console.

    Hello again,

    It looks like the JavaScript file for the plugin is missing from the page. My guess is that your theme is missing the wp_footer() function. You can either try adding it or you could also enable the setting “Are you using an AJAX theme?” as this will force the file to be included on the page.
