latest update broke media library search functionality

    I already submitted a support ticket on my PRO account, but also wanted to put this out here if others are having the same issue. Latest updates v2.8.10 completely broke media library search functionality. Regardless of whatever I type in the search field, it returns no results even if I see the file i’m looking for in the media library list, the search wouldn’t find it. Please, look into that because I really want to use the new update 2.8.10 because it has some really great new features like changing the width of the right panel which pop ups when one selects a file.

    Hi,

    Please check your PRO Search settings at Media > Media Library > Search (section) and choose the options you need. Please reply to the support ticket in your premium account. There we can discuss the issue. What were your settings before the update, what you got after, and so on. Thank you.

    my settings there are to search all fields except the author field. same settings as before, but search stops working. rolling back to the previous version, restores search functionality.

    Hi @standoutsites and everyone interested,

    It seems that I found a problem with the search.

    It appears when media files are being filtered by a category and then the search stops working inside it.

    I am still testing and fixing this. If you experience exactly this issue please confirm.
