    Hi,

I just recently went on to my site and upgraded the theme, but after doing so, I get the following error in my comments section:

Warning: call_user_func() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘swelllite_comment’ not found or invalid function name in /home/phoenixi/public_html/indianajill.ca/wp-includes/class-walker-comment.php on line 180

    The site is indianajill.ca.

Anyone have any ideas what’s happened?

    Thanks!

    Jillian

    Hi Jillian,

I’ve tested locally, and the comments appear to be functioning as normal. The error on your site doesn’t appear to be originating from the theme.

My suggestion would be to first try disabling plugins, and see if the error is caused by a plugin.

Otherwise, something may have gone wrong in the update process, and maybe the theme files didn’t all get updated. In which case, I’d recommend replacing the theme folder on your server with the latest version downloaded from Github, https://github.com/Invulu/swell-lite

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

Thank you! I think it was because I am using the plugin One Click Child Theme. I copy & pasted the comments.php file contents from the Github link you sent using the WordPress editor and it has fixed the problem.
