Yoast SEO 14.8.1 breaks the wordpress customizer. It loads but it’s completely blank. I’ve deactivated plugins one at a time to confirm that yoast is causing the issue.

  • Hi @y2kpeanut17 ,

We are sorry to hear that you’re having issues with our plugin. Yoast SEO 14.8.1 is an outdated version. Can you please update to the latest 15.0 version and see if that resolves your issue?

    Hi, just to clarify:

I was on 15.0. I rolled back incrementally until I found a version that didn’t break the customizer. 14.8.1 and later all break it.

    Hi @y2kpeanut17 ,

Thank you for the clarification. We tested this on a fresh installed website with only Yoast SEO 15.0 running but we cannot replicate the issue. This might be an isolated case. Can you please perform a conflict check?

Let us know how it goes.

Hi, I found the conflict manually. It’s caused by an outdated plugin, ‘ShortCodes UI’

It’s going to be a pain to redo all my custom shortcodes manually, but I guess it needs to be done sooner or later.

I appreciate the incredibly quick responses from your team. You guys are really on top of things.
