Just updated to the latest version.

Cart and checkout are doing the blank/grey boxes thing again!?

Will roll back again…. again ??

Any suggestions and help to resolve this would be great!

Wow! Seems all attributes have disappeared too!?

    Quite concerned!

Slighty frustrated that things break with every update!

Can you share a link? this seems like a cache issue and you likely need to flush out cache.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

No screenshot I’m afraid, I rolled back asap – couldn’t be having customers arriving at blank cart/checkouts!! Basically grey boxes where the content ( order summary, add coupon, payment options…) should be. They have that little flashy transition that tells us “something should appear here”.

I’ve spent the last couple of hours sorting out the attributes again.

I’m very concerned that if I update again, I’ll face the same issue.

How do I go about flushing cache?

    Ok, so I’ve updated again.

Thanks fully categories and attributes remain intact ( blimey what a nasty nerve wrecking panic!)

Tested and checkout/carts work on Chrome, Firefox and Edge browser.

    Still showing grey/blanks Opera browser.

To test yet – apple devices.

    Thanks!

    Hi @itsmefti,

I’m very concerned that if I update again, I’ll face the same issue.

It is a best practice to always update to a new version on a staging site before updating in your live store. This way, you’re able to notice any issues in the staging site and avoid affecting your live store. Here are steps to creating a staging site.

How do I go about flushing cache?

To flush the cache, you’ll need to go to your hosting provider’s settings as the process differs per host. If you’re using a caching plugin, typically there’s an option within the plugin settings to clear or flush the cache.

To test yet – apple devices.

Were you able to test from an incognito tab to see if this makes any difference?

    thanks for the update.

Works on all browsers now bar Opera. It does work in Opera private mode.

    what causes this issue?

I’ll have a look at creating a staging site, to avoid nasty stress and panics when things go wonky!

    thanks again, much appreciated ??

    Hi again @itsmefti,

It does work in Opera private mode.

    what causes this issue?

It is possible this is a caching issue or a browser extension causing the issue. You can try clearing any cache from your browser, then try again to see if that makes any difference.

Creating a staging site allows you to test changes, updates, or new features in a safe environment before implementing them on your live site. This way, if anything goes wrong, your live site remains unaffected, reducing stress and panic.

    thanks again, much appreciated

You’re most welcome. We’re here to help.
