Latest theme update broke home page

    just ran an update via WP back-end on Appointment, now running 2.8.1 with the child theme Appointment Green Version: 1.1.2 and all the data on the home page went missing, images and other things on various pages are also gone (i.e. the site logo, header images, etc)

    WTF

    What happened and how can we get this fixed?

    @imrajkhan I will try that and see what happens. Thank you.

    @bhsmw it is definitely a coding error in the header.php file in appointment as noted above. The same code is also in the child’s header.php code. It seems to not be able to define the variable its suppose to.

    Yes there is an issue with the plugin kindly use the latest version or webriti-companion ie 1.5 we have made some changes in plugin, kindly use ;atest version of themes and plugins.

    Let me know wither this resolves your issue or not.

    @priyanshumittal We did update both (theme, plugin) to latest and tried again.. we got the home page data back but the logo isn’t showing up at all.

    Also we cannot save when using the theme customizer, we get an error saying it failed and to try again a few minutes.

    did any of the recent updates affect the child themes ( we’re using appointment green child v1.1.2)

    You can now install the latest theme version 2.8.2 & it’s supporting features plugin of version 1.5
