Latest Site Version not loading on local host

  • Working on Localhost (MAMP)
    Using a template (Kalium by Laborator).
    Creating new portfolio pages. Everything was working. Home page grid showing the images, links were working.

    Left the local host on. shut the laptop and came back to work on it the next day.

    Next day. logged back into WP via local host. (https://localhost:8888/wp-admin)
    could see all of the latest portfolio pages (Home page porfolio grid) Clicked into a few pages. could see that the pages were there, however images were not loading.

    Decided to empty Google cache from last 24 hrs.

    that’s when I had to log back into WP and NONE of the pages appeared. Reverted back to the default demo content.

    All images are still in the upload folder.

    Not sure if this is a WP issue or a template issue

  • I’m not sure this is going to be helpful, but what happens when you restart MAMP?

    Do you mean your browser cache? I’m not sure, but it shouldn’t be related.

    If it happens again, before you revert, you might like to try exporting your site at wp-admin/export.php. If WordPress exports your posts/pages with the right content, but they’re still not displaying it might be a theme issue.
