Latest Pro Version 2 Step Backwards

I have used the old Pro version extensively on a number of websites. This version was then renamed Classic and a new Pro version released. I upgraded to the new Pro version so I could have a text editing tool bar visible when users used the “Create Post” facility (not available on the old Pro version).
Fine so far!
However, the new Pro version has two major problems:
1. It does not allow the Create Post author to be credited (but a default author). The old Pro version did do this.
2. The Create Post Form will not work unless there is a “Post Excerpt” field included. This was another step backwards for me.
Support did try to help, but they had to admit defeat and could only offer to put forward my concerns as a “Feature Request”, I did ask for a comment from Matt Muro, but this has not happened.

There was no indication in the documentation about this problem, and I spent a huge number of hours trying to sort out a problem that couldn’t be sorted! It’s a shame but Hey Ho…….

I have now moved over to Formidable Forms and find that it does everything I want it to do and more.
