latest post post slider works differently on my blogs

i displayed Latest post slider both on my sites:
– at ghawaco.com works well
– at theguitarlearner.com it didn’t crop the images, it shows full images instead of 400×1170-cropped images
both are in exactly same settings; the first default setting for sliders.

please help, thank you
