This is an issue I’ve experienced previously, that always seems to ‘fix itself’ eventually, but I am trying to get to the bottom of it.
Occasionally when I publish a new post, it is live (e.g. the URL works) and it shows in my Recent Post Widget; but my main blog page (where all posts show in chronological order) it is no where to be seen.
e.g. my blog page shows latest post to be from Feb 24th 2018 however my latest post was up 3rd March and shows in the sidebar widget. Strangely, on my landing page I have a row which shows my 3 latest posts, and it does not show there either.
I have read this can be to do with cache; I have installed a plugin to remove cache, and contacted my host who has also cleared it their end. No fix.
I have installed WordPress Health Check to see if there is anything going on with my plugins and theme, and I’m getting an error: ” Your version of cURL, 7.24.0, is lower than the recommended minimum version of 7.38. Your site may experience connection problems with other services and www.remarpro.com” I have no idea if this could be the culprit, but my host cannot update their version of cURL.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Sarah
]]>I then restored, and changed to a basic theme (twenty-one) and none of my posts displayed at all.
I’ve done all the basic trouble-shooting I’ve found online and I’ve got no idea what else I can do.
Thanks,
Sarah
