This plugin has been responsible for generating over 1,000 transit database entries in a little over 10 days. Not only do transients bulk up a database but I believe them to be a security issue allowing referrer spam to be inserted into a database. I run secure blogs and keep getting referrer spam especially from Ru in the sites where I am running ngg.
