Latest News translate

  • How can I translate the “Latest News” text to my own language? All other text seems to work, but not this text. I see also others have same problem, but you never help ??

    My site: https://lkgskole.no/ is running in norwegian language and the “Latest News” in english does look bad.

    what follows what happened to me gently Kengun

    Since my site is in norwegian I’m not sure what your text in wp-admin is, but see if you find someting like this:

    – Go to wp-admin of your site.
    – Go to “Appearance” (for your theme)
    – Go to “Editor” (where you can edit all the template .php files)
    – In upper right corner be sure “The newswire” template is selected
    – Then click on “Main Index Template” (index.php)
    – Hold CTRL and hit F to seach.
    – Type “Latest News” in the search box (in upper right corner of your browser)
    It looks something like this:
    <h2 class=”heading-latest”><?php _e(‘Latest News’, ‘newswire’); ?></h2>

    I think you can also just find the index.php file with FileZilla in the THE NEWSWIRE template folder. Be sure you open the right index.php file ??

    Remember if you upgrade the template the “Latest News” will go back and you have to change it again.

    It works for now ??
