Latest MD5 and SHA1 hash values don't match up
-
My WP site was recently hacked, and I cleaned up the site as best as I could. However, I am still paranoid that there might be something left that I didn’t get to sanitize.
I uploaded (from within the plugins menu of WP) the exploit scanner plugin v1.4.7 I am comparing the MD5 and SHA1 hash values of the plugin with the latest ones on the plugin website, and they don’t match up.
Plugin tells me:
MD5 of exploit-scanner.php: 2e95cfccce6612d88d7cc21ab1e9385d
SHA1 of exploit-scanner.php: eca0fba4de4ccabff24b1f8466d9d0426408ac4e
MD5 of hashes-4.3.php: e79f0310fcffcc596af9bba13fd7b4e5
SHA1 of hashes-4.3.php: bc1487abeb54b0fd550aa3756c6eb9dda5180696
The MD5 and SHA1 of hashes-4.3.php match, but not the ones for exploit-scanner.php
So I erased the plugin from my installation and manually uploaded it. Same result. Am I in trouble?
