Latest iteration (2.6.X) is 3 updates in & still messed up

  • Up until the 2.6.X release, SmoothSlider was working the way one would want any plugin to work: doing what it’s supposed to do in a way that you mostly don’t need to think about it. But the latest set of updates have been riddled with conflicts and problems: conflicting with various other seemingly unrelated plugins, randomly changing the placement of the slider on a page or post, and generally reeking havoc.

    It’s more than 2 weeks in, and response from support is nothing but “drip drip drip” … I’m restarting a search for an alternative way to present my posts. Not happy … and not recommending.

    OK. As of this morning, and new updates from BOTH plugins, the conflict has been resolved. Thanks.

    If there’s a way to revise my rating, I’ll do so.
