Latest From Each Category 1.3

    I installed and activated the ‘Latest From Each Category’ plug-in (v.1.3) by Aleister. It seemed to work perfectly and displayed a list of the latest posts in each category. But today I published new posts in 2 of my categories but the plug-in does not seem to be updating – ie., it still shows the same posts as before.
    I tried de-activating and re-activating the plug-in but it seems to have got stuck with the posts which were ‘the latest’ when I first up-loaded the plug-in.
    I’d be really grateful if anyone could help me out with this.

    It seems that it works fine after all – just takes some time to update, that’s all. Sorry to waste your time if you’re reading this.

    You should update – the latest stable is 2.0.4, a security upgrade!

    (If I remember well, 2.0.2 had problems with its caching system: a possible cause for what you’ve experienced)

    Basic explanation: A lot of my plugins hide future-dated posts by default, and if the server time does not match the time in WordPress, it will often think new posts are in the future (until the time reaches that point)
