    WordPress 2.5.2

    Envira Lite 1.3.4.2 vs. 1.5.0.3

The old lite plugin was excellent and was truly responsive – best gallery plugin available.

The latest version of the lite plugin seems to have take a huge step backwards. The default setup now appears to be one column of images on tablet and mobile and the images sit in the middle of the content space so they doesn’t even take up the width but leave gaps either side.

    How is this responsive?

Can someone explain how to get the plugin to act in the way it did in the older version i.e. images sit side by side (according to their px width) and however many images the plugin calculated it could fit into the content width — instead of a single column of images!

btw, the pro version lets you set the number of side by side images on mobile – one setting for tablet and mobile — so its not much better as an ipad’s browser width in landscape is a lot larger than a mobile phone browser width in portrait.

I just wanted to chime in and let you know we are aware of this issue and are working to get it resolved so that the columns feature functions as expected! We’ll have an update out by the end of the week at the latest! ??

We have fixed this issue and will be pushing out an update later today for you. Thanks for your patience! ??

I am having this problem as well, with the Pro version. I cannot get the mobile version on phones to do anything but squished squares (one column) or take up the whole space in their correct aspect ratio. I have tried every variation of setting in the mobile section as well as adding (and then deleting) CSS to try and force it to work properly. It seems to work OK when I move to landscape mode but still large squares than I would like. This seems to happen often, and as soon as I get the settings working well, my galleries get messed up again. Very frustrated, please help!

Despite the update I don’t think the new version of the plugin works responsively. It still does what I said in my first post.

Despite numerous emails and sending testing to Envira support I gave up and moved to a different plugin which works as I would expect a responsive gallery plugin to work.

Such a shame as it used to be a good plugin.
