Please can you post a link to the actual page so I can see it, check the code, and try to help you further with this? It isn’t happening to me on my test environment so I’ll need to see it in action to be able to help.

    Thanks
    Maeve

Maeve; Thank you, I can post a link to the actual page as it is in a local server, any other suggestions?

I’m sorry, without being able to see the issue live, there is not a lot I can do to help.

    Hello Maeve,

I am having the same issue and have the plugin installed in a sandbox environment: https://mhr.imc-sandbox.com/knowledgebase/

    Any suggestions?

No idea at all! Sorry. From the outside I really have no idea why this is happening. I’d be happy to take a closer look if you’d like to contact me privately with some WP Admin details?

It will ask for a license key… just put “NA” in that field and it will submit.

    Same problem here.

Where does that title come from. From which file? Then I can debug this myself.

You don’t mean the title of the Page do you? If so, go to Pages > open your Knowledgebase page for editing > and on that page change the title as needed. ??

Changing this issue to ‘unresolved’ as a 3rd user has reported experiencing same problem.

Troubleshooting has established it is not a conflict with theme or another plugin, but obviously this error seems to be rare, and specific to a few users only… so perhaps it is something to do with the specific hosting environment….

Anyone who stumbles across this thread, please tell me the name of your Web Host. Hopefully a common thread will emerge…

I have this problem on one WordPress site.
Another wordpress site running on the same server does not have the problem.

So, hosting is ruled out it seems.

What part of the code is setting the work “Knowledge Base” at the top. Because that is the piece of text which is replaced by the title of the last post.

I’m having this same problem. The latest article shows as the page title, right below the search box.

Hi Guys, just letting you know we’re still working on this and expect to have it fixed in next release which will be finished soon. Thanks for your patience.

Here is an update on this issue:

    • We don’t believe this is caused by any other plugin (because site still shows the error with all other plugins deactivated)
    • We don’t believe it is caused by anything in the theme (because site still shows the error using twentytwelve which we knows works fine normally)
    • I cannot replicate the problem locally, nor on a live test environment
    • The problem is isolated to a very small number of sites > only 4 users have reported experiencing this error, while hundreds of other users do not.
    • One of the 4 users is on GoDaddy hosting, the rest have not reported back so I have been unable to pursue this line of enquiry

As you can see from above, basic troubleshooting has not identified a cause for this error. Without being able to replicate the error or examine an affected site there is not much more I can do to help.

Anyone else who is experiencing this error please post:
+ A link to the affected page on your site
+ A note of your web host
+ Please also deactivate all other plugins and revert to the default theme for testing and confirm if the error still shows for you.

    Thanks,
    Maeve

I’m the ‘3rd user’ Maeve referred to above. I have a little more light the shed on this issue…

I my situation the title of the most-recently-updated article displays below the search box only if certain WordPress Permalinks settings are selected e.g. if using the Default setting the Title is NOT displayed whereas when using the Day and name’ setting it IS displayed.

Perhaps that might bring us close to finally resolving this.

Great, thanks heaps Shane that could be a real help. I’ll test this and see if we can replicate.

In the meantime, can anyone else who stumbles on this confirm this? Does permalink setting affect this for you?
