    This type of thing ruins people’s weekends and especially those who do not use a staging domain to test things out.

    The lesson folks is always use a test domain first – yes I know, we all can’t help pushing the button to have the latest.

    Hats-off to WP for AMP in getting a patched version out so quickly.

    *** Please consider bundling you own version of the base AMP plugin so incompatibilities can be avoided. The AMP project have been sloppy.

    Thank you so much! We are working very hard to deliver a good user experience.

    We have been constantly discussing the bundling of the base plugin and maintaining it ourselves. We are not able to achieve many things because of it’s limitations.

    I think after this incident, It’s evident that we have to bundle it with the codebase for only one reason, that is to deliver a Good experience to Users.
